Through the beautiful and inspiring journal and book arts projects presented in this unique volume, Lynne Perrella brings together a substantial compendium of cutting-edge collage techniques, many devised by the leading artists and teachers working in that field today, that can be integrated into several art forms: Journals, memory albums, altered books, artist's books, scrapbooks and more. Heavily technique oriented, this book grew from a collaborative art project, initiated by Lynne Perrella, involving 14 artists. The project was based on the open-ended theme of Letters and Numbers, which is why it is now called "Alphabetica."
